In 2024, two friends from Frankfurt came together to bring a shared vision to life: high-quality silk scarves made for a younger, style-conscious audience.
They both saw the same gap — while silk scarves are one of fashion’s most enduring pieces, the market was divided. On one side: heritage brands recycling the same designs for decades. On the other: trendy pieces that lacked the craftsmanship and quality silk truly deserves.
Their mission? To bridge that gap. ZEIDE creates vibrant, high-quality silk scarves that celebrate individuality and joyful living — each piece a modern heirloom, made to last.
We asked ourselves: What if the memories we inherited could evolve into something we wear — something that feels like us?

Craft That Honors Quality Over Quantity
We believe true quality should feel effortless — even if it takes time and care behind the scenes. Here’s what sets our silk apart:
🧵 100% Grade 6A Mulberry Silk
We use only the finest silk fibers available. These long, smooth threads give each scarf its natural shine, softness, and strength — making it both luxurious and durable.
⚖️ The Perfect Weight (16–18 Momme)
Momme (pronounced “moe-mie”) measures the density of silk. Ours is woven at the sweet spot: thick enough to drape beautifully and hold deep, vibrant colors — yet light enough to wear year-round.
🪡 Hand-Rolled Hems
Each edge is finished by skilled artisans using a traditional technique called roulotté. This hand-stitched border creates a soft, wavy edge — a true mark of craftsmanship that machines can’t replicate.
